Fun Fact: I hate folding clothes 🌚 If th Fun Fact: I hate folding clothes 🌚

If there’s one task I would be okay with never doing again, it would be folding clothes. I can wash and dry clothes all day, but folding them and then hanging them up takes me weeks to do.

Shameless Confession: My guest bed has become the holder for all my clean laundry until I have the energy to fold and put them away 🙈

BUT today I’m finally tackling this mountain of clothes that’s accumulated. Not because I want to but because I have to.

These last few weeks have been filled with stress and zero productivity. I do most of my work and creating in my guest bedroom and lately I’ve been avoiding it at all cost. I thought it was because I just didn’t feel like, but it’s honestly because I don’t have a “productive” workspace. My creative space has slowly turned into one cluttered mess 🙃

Have you ever noticed when the room or area around you in “busy” or messy, you have a harder time focusing? That’s been me these past few weeks.

It’s been proven a clean space can:

✅ Improve quality of sleep

✅ Reduce stress

✅ Improve focus

✅ Increase productivity

Have you been more unproductive, distracted, or just can’t seem to get into the zone to create or accomplish any task at hand? First, check the space around you. Are you working in a clean space, or is it busy, cluttered, and distracting? The environment you’re in can directly impact your efficiency and efficacy ✨

As your resting and preparing for the week today, be sure to schedule some time to tidy up not only your creative space, but also your living space 🌻

Also, comment down below and let me know what’s one task you hate doing? Do you enjoy folding clothes, sis, or are you normal 👀
It’s a rainy day here today ☔️ So I’m in t It’s a rainy day here today ☔️ So I’m in the house for the day.

Fun Fact: I hate driving in the rain, like literally hate it. I try to avoid driving in the rain at all cost 🙅🏾‍♀️

On days like today, I love to let all the windows up and smell the fresh rain while I lay in the bed or on the couch doing nothing. How do you typically spend your rainy days? Do you enjoy rainy days? Do you have any rainy day traditions?

I plan to spend my day curled up on the couch under a weighted blanket, binge-watching a show and movies on Netflix 🍿 What do you have planned today? Is it raining where you are? What are you currently watching? Comment down below with a few suggestions for me to watch today 🎞
Cheers to the weekend 🍾 Plans for the weekend i Cheers to the weekend 🍾 Plans for the weekend include doing absolutely nothing. Taking some much needed time to rest and refill my cup 🌻

What do you have planned this weekend 👀 Are you working, resting, or a combination of both? Comment down below and let me know!
Did you really have a bad day, sis, or just a bad Did you really have a bad day, sis, or just a bad few minutes 🧐

This week is weeking, okay! Everyday has been giving very much so Monday vibes. From missed deadlines to stuck packages to flat tires to no AC 🙃 It seems like everything is going wrong at the worst possible times and it’s really getting to me. Friday can’t get here quick enough 🍾

As much as I would like to say I shook everything off and rolled with the punches, I didn’t. I’ve been mad, even a little angry. I cried. I got overwhelmed and honestly wanted to quit.

Today’s not one of those days I’m preaching positivity, I’m showing you we’re all human and it’s okay 💕

I failed, sis. I let a few bad moments control my entire day and throw my entire week off course. I can honestly say I haven’t shown up as my best self this week. My mindset has been challenged and I failed each time. Relatable or no?

BUT we’re not dwelling on our shortcomings, we’re showing ourselves grace and moving on ✨

Maybe this week isn’t going as you planned, maybe you haven’t shown up as your best self, maybe your mindset and resiliency has been challenged and you failed. It’s okay. Fail forward, sis, and keep it going 🌸

This week I encourage you to not let a few bad moments control your week, or even your day. Take a few seconds to breathe and recenter yourself, and then focus on the things you can control ✨

What’s one lesson you’ve learned this week? What’s one way your mindset has been tested this week and how did you respond? How do you bounce back after a bad day? Comment down below and let me know 🌻
Stop trying to be everything and do everything all Stop trying to be everything and do everything all the time, sis 🌻

You’re burnt out because you’re trying to give all of you to all of your tasks, roles, and responsibilities in your life all of the time.

News Flash: You can’t (at least not in a healthy and productive way) 🤷🏾‍♀️ You can’t show up as your best self if you’re too tired, overwhelmed, and stretched too thin.

This quarter, I encourage you to stop trying to be superwoman and start operating in seasons. This year we’re working smarter, not harder.

Working in seasons looks like:

🌸 Choosing one primary focus area (maybe it’s you, your family/friends, your work, or even your side hustle/business/brand)

🌸 Communicating with those around you (family, spouses, friends, business partners, etc.) what your focus is this season and how they can support you

🌸 Committing yourself to fully showing up for that one thing for a set length of time you choose and saving all other unrelated big tasks until a later date (or new season)

As you plan out your next season, be sure to:

✍🏾 Set a time frame of this season. How long will this season last?

✍🏾 Set a goal for this season. What do you want to achieve? What is the purpose of this season?

✍🏾 Remember to show yourself grace. We’re still unlearning a lot of bad habits. It’s okay to slip up and make mistakes. Just don’t focus on them for too long and keep moving forward.

✍🏾 Pace yourself. Don’t try to do everything in this one season. It may take you two or three seasons to reach your big goal. Remember, slow and steady win the race.

Switching my mindset and operating in seasons has really changed the game for me. It’s increased my clarity, productivity, health, and overall mood. No more feeling burnt out, tired, and overwhelmed. It’s allowed me to reach my goals quicker and even surpass them. I always get asked how do I do it all, and the answer is I don’t. I work in seasons ✨

What season are you currently in? Is this a busy season for you, or are you taking it slow right now? What are your goals for this season? Let’s hold each other accountable. Comment down below and let me know 💕
When I don’t have my Sundays, I feel it througho When I don’t have my Sundays, I feel it throughout the entire week 😅

My Sundays are typically spent planning and preparing for the week, but with Easter and traveling home, none of that happened this week 🙃

And honestly, I’m feeling foggy, overwhelmed, and a little irritable. Hence me posting tonight at 8pm in real time, instead of my normal 9am scheduled time 🙈

So here I am tonight spending some time intentionally planning to help get this week back on track ✨

How’s your week going so far, sis? What’s one thing that can throw your entire week off if it doesn’t happen 👀 Comment down below and let me know!
Anyone else moving extra slow this morning 😅

It’s always hard getting back in the swing of things after a holiday weekend, so I’m pouring myself an extra cup of coffee this morning and showing myself a whole lotta grace today ✨

Wishing each of you a happy Monday and a productive week!
